Termination of Services – Terms and Conditions
Upon termination of any Service with Triple B Business (Registered Agent or any other Service), you agree that:
- Triple B Worldwide, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, consultants, representatives, and affiliates are released from any liability or obligation to notify you of lawsuits or any mail received after termination, even if our address is still listed on corporate filings or if we are still listed as the registered agent.
- We have the right to remove ourselves and our address from your account, which may result in default and loss of licenses, good standing, or agency approvals.
- Any account accessor has the authority to cancel Services.
- The termination is binding on the company(s) and waives any rights or claims for statutory damages or tort claims.
- You will not file a “change of address” request with the USPS.
Registered Agent Service Termination
- We can terminate the service: We may terminate Registered Agent Service at any time for reasons such as inaccurate information, inability to locate, failure to pay, suspected illegal activity, or any other lawful reason.
- You can terminate our service: You may cancel Service anytime through your account portal or by contacting us.
Upon termination you acknowledge and agree that:
- You release Triple B Worldwide, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, consultants, representatives, and affiliates from any liability, duty, or obligation to notify, forward, or re-mail documents received, even if our address is still listed as the registered agent.
- We have the right to remove ourselves and our address from your account, which may result in default and loss of licenses, good standing, or agency approvals, but we are not obligated to do so.
- As of termination date, we will not forward any legal documents, lawsuits, mail, or notices received.
- You will hold Triple B Worldwide, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, consultants, representatives, and affiliates harmless from any third-party claims arising from delayed receipt of legal documents after Registered Agent Service termination.
Handling Legal Documents after Service Termination
If we receive Legal Documents for you after we are no longer your registered agent, we will send a notice to the last known email on file. To access the Legal Document, you must either renew your Service with us, pay prior fees or a “Per Document” fee. Once you take one of these steps, the document will be made available to you.
Waiver and Release of Claims, Indemnification
You Waive and Release any Claims and Agree to Hold Us Harmless and Indemnify Us.
Upon termination of your service, you waive and release Triple B Worldwide, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, consultants, representatives, and affiliates from any duty to notify, forward, or re-mail any documents received, except as outlined in these terms. You agree to hold Triple B Worldwide, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, consultants, representatives, and affiliates harmless from any third party claims arising from the failure to receive Legal Documents after termination.
Termination of Non-Registered Agent Services
The process of terminating Services other than Registered Agent Services is similar, but listed separately due to legal requirements. In regards to these services:
- We have the right to terminate: We may end a service or services at any point for reasons such as incorrect information on your account, difficulty in locating you, failure to pay for services, suspected illegal activity, or any other lawful reason.
- You can cancel: You can end your services at any time by accessing your account and using the client portal to cancel.
How to Terminate or Cancel a Service
To end a service with us and stop receiving invoices, simply log in to your account and cancel the service using the client portal. You can also contact us to cancel a service.
Cancellation can be requested at any time without incurring fees. However, upon cancellation, you may be required to pay any past-due balances related to the cancelled service, unless stated otherwise in the agreement.
